Bible study August 12, 2020

Welcome to the New Day Christian Church Bible study for August 12, 2020.

Pastor George K. Logan. Kinds of faith.

Kinds of faith.

Pastor George K. Logan. The Power Of Faith.

This world's system is not God's system. In the world's system you can work as hard as you can, and still fail. When Jesus died for our sins and rose again, He opened the door to His Kingdom. We can now receive from God by faith.

Pastor George K. Logan. The Realities Of Righteousness.

When our realities are lined up with the word of God, our actions will start to change accordingly.

Joe Collett. Faith For Healing.

God loves us and wants us healed. Believe His word, and He - The Almighty God works healing in our lives.

Alton Hunt. Speaking Unbelief??

When you are doing the will of God and following God's calling, you will meet opposition. You will meet giants that will try to stop you. Don't listen to all the voice that is telling you that you can't do it. God is telling you that He will give you grace and power to do it as you go.

Pastor George K. Logan. The power of righteousness Pt.7

Psalms 5:12 For You, O Lord, will bless the righteous; With favor You will surround him as with a shield. Today Jesus is our righteousness. That means we are qualified for His protection.

Pastor George K. Logan. The Power Of Righteousness Pt.6

You are the righteousness of God in Christ. It is a free gift that you were born into when you received Jesus in your life. Our mind needs to be renewed daily from the word of God. God is doing the renewing process in our minds with His word and His spirit.

Pastor George K. Logan. The power of righteousness Pt.5

The power of righteousness Pt.5

Pastor George K. Logan. The power of righteousness Pt.4

It is so close to the human nature to try to make it on it's own. Try to keep the law and feel satisfaction when we feel we succeed, but condemnation when we fail. God's word says that no one becomes righteous by keeping the law. Jesus is given us His righteousness by grace. We receive it by faith.

Pastor George K. Logan. The Power Of Righteouesness Pt.3

We are the righteousness of God in Jesus Christ. This is a gift. We couldn't do anything to deserve it.

Pastor George K. Logan. The power of righteousness Pt.2

We all have a fundamental need to feel righteous. That may lead to a defensive heart. The good news is that Jesus made us His Righteousness in Christ. We are free. No defense needed.

Pastor George K. Logan. The power of righteousness Pt.1

We all have a need to be righteous. This is a good message. We don't need to struggle to become righteous. Jesus made us righteous.

Pastor George K. Logan. The snake behind the curtain.

This is a message that goes directly into today's situation were we are dealing with racism. Don't be quiet, but do it God's way.

Pastor George K. Logan. The Power Of Humility Pt.3

True humility has great rewards. Jesus showed us who God is, and Jesus is humble. That means the Almighty God is humble. Let's pray: God give us humble hearts.

Pastor George K. Logan. The power of humility Pt.2. A profile of a un-humble man.

King Saul had everything he needed to succeed as a king. He was called and anointed by God. God was fighting his battles. Then king Saul started to do it his way and not God's way. He had opportunities to repent and walk in the Grace of God, but he didn't.

Pastor George K. Logan. The Power Of Humility.

It looks like no matter how bad we or others have acted, The Almighty God is running towards us when we repent and turn to God. Jesus said, it is all done, I have opened the door for you!

The Power Of Hope. Have Faith, Get Hope.

Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. This create hope. And God will be in your heart, by His Holy Spirit, and testify that the word is The Truth.

PASTORE GEORGE K. LOGAN. THE POWER OF HOPE. THE PROMISE IN THE OATH.

God went in a covenant with Abraham. He new that God would keep His word. In the same way, God gave Jesus for us. He gave his life, He was the lam that was slain for us. You can trust God now, because your security is in Jesus, not in yourself.

PASTOR GEORGE K. LOGAN. THE POWER OF HOPE.

We can have our hope in a lot of things, but when the storms of life comes, there is one hope that will last. The hope God gave us when Jesus Christ died for our sins, and rose again in victory. That is now your victory.

Pastor George K. Logan. RESURRECTION DAY. BEFORE AND AFTER.

God reconciled us to himself. When we said yes to Jesus, He created everything new inside us. Our minds needs to be renewed and restored on a daily basis. He sends us out and restores us as we go.

Pastor George K. Logan. Blessed Assurance.

God says in His word: John 10:28, They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. That means you are safe even when the world is going through turmoil.

Pastor George K. Logan. Why Joy?

Nehemiah 8:10: Do not grieve, for the joy of the Lord is your strength."

Pastor George K. Logan. Do Not Fear.

The word of God should always be our top priority. In times like this many of us wake up and realize the importance of the word of God. Don't let your heart be troubled. God will be there for you!

Pastor George K. Logan. A view from above.

In times like this the heart of God is to give us rest and focus on Him and His word.

Melody Gardner. The poor - what is my hearts posture towards them?

The bible shows us that God's heart is reaching out to the poor. He wants us to reflect His compassion for them.

Pastor George K. Logan. Generosity Pt.7. The law of reciprocity.

The nature shows us that it is wise to sow. You will get back many times what you sowed. God's word says the same. When we sow from our resources, that God has given to us, into other peoples needs, God will reward it. There will be a harvest. Let's give out of a response to God's love for us.

Pastor George K. Logan. Generosity Pt.6. Matters of the heart.

We need balance in our lives. We have received forgiveness and can give forgiveness. We can give of our talents and money, and bless other people. Because we are blessed by God. He said on the cross: It is finished. That includes that He paid for all our sins.

Pastor George K. Logan. Generosity Pt.5. The Purpose of the tithe.

God is a giver, He gave His only Son to us. He want to bless us so we can bless others. Bless others with the Good News, and support people in need. Malachi 3:10: Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house.

Pastor George K. Logan. Generosity Pt.4. The heart of the tithe.

God has given us everything we have. We can trust God to give 1/10 back.

Pastor George K. Logan. Generosity. Offering.

Abel offered the best and the first. God gave His best to us, His son Jesus Christ as an ultimate offer for our sins. We are free and can freely give from our lives.
