On this episode of Real to Reel we not only jump back into Sci-Fi Channel movies but into the mid aughts, a time when thing were much simpler and the Beast of Bray Road was hot on the scende. Origininally investigated by the late great Linda Godfrey, the story of the beast od Bray Road has only grown over the years. However, in 2005, it was nothing more than a werewolf story. The Navajo Howler Followed Me Home
This week we talk with Jeremy, who lives on the border of the Navajo Nation and has spent years hauling cargo through the area. Real to Reel: Peter Benchley's Creature (1998)
On this episode of Real to Reel we conclude summer with a creature feature from the tropics. This film was released on May 17th, 1998 as a two part seires on ABC. It's titled Creature and was based off Peter Benchley's novel "White Shark". Much like Jaws, which was also written by Peter, this adaptived film is much different than the book. The Plesio-Turtle Hypothesis

The Bauman Story and the National Park Conspiracy

The Extinction Connection
This week we play off our Real To Reel movie and ask the question: Are cryptids relic survivors of extinct animals? People believe the Loch Ness Monster is a Plesiosamur, a marine reptile that died out 65 million years ago.There stories out of the Congo of dinosaur-like crypts that should also have died out millions of years ago and many believe that Sasquatch is, or at the very least, is the direct ancestor of the Gigantopithecus, which by all accounts died out around 300 thousands years ago. The Demon of Burry Hill

Real to Reel: Crocodile
On this episode of Real to Reel Nick dives into giant crocodile lore by first going over a beast named Lolong, a 20 foot 3 inch long croc that was caught in 2012 and remains to this day the largest croc ever officially recorded. but it seems they get bigger than that! Fae Folk of the Far North
Do fae folk exist outside of Ireland? i know we here at Almost Canon believe they do! So this week were venturing deep into the arctic circle and investigating the stories of the 'Little People', specifically the Arctic Pygmies. We then follow the trail out of the snow and ice and into the mountains where stories of these fae-like beings are still told. The Ariel School UFO Incident
This week we take a look at the Ariel School UFO incident, which happened in September of 1994. On the morning of September 16th, 1994, 62 children, while playing out at recess, witnessed a mysterious object fall from the sky and land in the field near their playground. What happened from there is something straight out of a Spielberg or Cameron film. Four entities exited the craft and began psychically communicating with the students, showing these 10 years olds, all sorts of images of a dying world. Hunted By A Dogman While Bow Hunting
This week we talk with W. Boyd, who came face to face with a dogman one morning, while bow hunting with his father. The two had started their trip by parking in a lot near a piece of property they owned and began walking into the woods. It wasn't long until Boyd began hearing something something them. It would walk when they walked and stopped when they stopped. He pointed this out to his father, who couldn't hear that good, but they continued on to their hunt. But it didn't take long for Boyd to figure out what was following them because it was already at his hunting spot, seemingly waiting there for him! This is one of the best dogman encounters I've heard and the second dogman encounter we've heard where the individual was hunting. Bigfoot in the Green Mountain State
This week we talk about Bigfoot in Vermont otherwise known as the Green Mountain State. Vermont is one of the smallest states in the Union but it is incredibly wooded.
