'Pet Quality' by Marty Fun Times

Marty Fun Times

Notes on ‘Pet Quality’ Pet Quality has a dualism that defies facile examination.  It is at once a pronouncement on the nature of mankind vs. beast and a renouncement of all that reduces human interaction to how good it feels for whomever has the biggest paws.  This is a journey from basic instinctual needs through innocent child’s play to the ultimate relegation of the human experience as presentation on a screen, to be enjoyed only through a strong filter, in a dark room, while the ambivalent among us are left to just step in and step out.  Everyone in this room needs a pedigree.  Here is the human condition encapsulated in pseudo-pop alternative rock. ‘Pet Quality’ is the 2 nd Album by Marty Fun Times.  The band started their music career releasing ‘Goochland’ in 2013.  Contact the band at martyfuntimes –at—gmail.com.
