Terry Riley speaks to producer Conor Gillies about his composition “Poppy Nogood and the Phantom Band” ahead of a 2015 performance of the piece at MIT. Evan Ziporyn transcribed a new, live-instrument version of the work. The occasion was Terry’s 80th birthday.
