The Christian View of Economics with Jerry Bowyer
The church naturally gravitates to speaking about the spiritual nature of the Bible's teaching. After all, the gospel calls the church officers to preach for the forgiveness of sins, administrate the sacraments, and practice church discipline. Be prepared to have your view of scripture challenged not by modern social trends but by receiving a clear exposition of the geographical, political, and economics conditions of the Ancient Near East. www.kingdomadvisors.com www.truelegacyfp.com

When Pastors Leave Their Church
This is a very important episode of the Faith and Money Podcast that you shouldn’t miss. Even if you’re not in pastoral ministry, this episode is for you. Have you ever been apart of a church where the pastor resigned? There are many reasons that a pastor could leave a particular role. But more often than not those transitions are filled with conflict, hurt, and bitterness. Too often the gossip that erupts from these situations is scandalous and deeply hurtful. The consequences are pretty serious when the minister is forced to leave a church. It’s a lot different than leaving a job. A minister could take a year or more before they find their next ministry assignment. Many times the biggest consequence is the loss of community. The whole family may feel ostracized, especially if the split was due to the result of sin. The church seems very good at judging, damaging, and destroying it’s shepherd. Thanks for reading Faith and Money! Subscribe for free to receive new posts and support my work. Bill Tom, however, has seen the need for the church to do better and has provided a platform to help both churches and ministers separate more peacefully and without so much trauma for everyone involved. The cost for this service in my estimation is negligible, but the peace and harmony for everyone involved is invaluable. Blended Families, Money and Christ
Blended Families are not a new phenomenon. They are definitely different today than they were 150 years ago or even during the Bible. Combining finances in a blended marriage is uniquely complex and different than other families. The first thing to note is that many blended families financial decisions will involve decisions with ex-spouses or parents not within the home. It’s all too easy to allow past mistakes and the results of failed relationships to carry over into the present. Lupe understands these complexities and loves helping blended families navigate their finances in a way that honors the Lord. You Need An Estate Plan
In this episode, Keith and Crystal interview estate planning attorney, Jeff Blied, on estate planning for Christians. Many people put off an estate plan until they are older, for a lot of reasons. The fact is, however, if you have children and/or own a home an estate plan is very likely necessary. In this episode, we share the reasons why an estate plan is necessary and how the different parts of an estate plan can protect your family and assets both during your life and after you pass away.
