Freedom | Vessels of Honor
We’re learning how to be aware of the demonic without becoming obsessed; how to recognize that some battles feel personal but are ultimately aimed at undermining our trust in God. Most importantly, we unpack the authority believers carry in Christ: the name of Jesus, the power of God’s Word, and what Jesus accomplished through the cross and his blood.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Freedom | God's Word
Something is off when the Bible sits on our shelf, we respect it, and yet we still feel stuck. We wrestle with that tension head-on and ask a blunt question: is God’s Word actually alive to us? Not just true in theory, but active in our Monday morning anxiety, our parenting stress, our marriage strain, and the quiet shame we carry around from years ago.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Freedom | Our Words
A single sentence can follow you for years. We go after why that happens, why we often ration encouragement while letting critique and complaint spill out, and how Scripture treats our words as more than “just speech.” Pastor Jason shares an honest story from his own past, then brings us to Proverbs and Matthew 12: the tongue carries the power of life and death, and what comes out of our mouths reveals what our hearts have stored up. If you have ever hated what you said in the moment or felt trapped by words spoken over you, there is a path forward. Freedom | Forgiveness
Forgiveness is easy to praise and hard to practice, especially when the wound is real, the apology never comes, or the person who hurt you still wants access to your life. We’ve picked up bad ideas about what forgiveness is supposed to look like. “Move on.” “Forget it.” “Stop feeling it.” None of that heals a heart, and none of it matches the way Scripture talks about forgiveness.Click here for message notes.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Freedom | Surrender
We talk about why sin is not a scoreboard but a deforming force that reshapes our desires, habits, and identity. We name four “blockages of the heart” that keep our soul unrestored and our flesh unsurrendered, then ask the Holy Spirit to search us, cleanse us, and make us new.Click here for message notes.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Freedom | God’s Way
For too many people life with Jesus feels like anything but the "easy yoke" and "light burden" He is inviting us into. Why? Life has a way of feeling heavy when you’re carrying guilt, hiding behind a mask, or trying to build a new life in Jesus on old foundations that were laid when we weren't even thinking about Him.Click here for Message Notes.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Freedom | Our Way
The most dangerous lie shame tells is that hiding will keep you safe. We start with the Genesis garden, not as a children’s story, but as a blueprint for what still happens in real life: a simple question becomes a slow drift, our own “what makes sense to me” replaces God’s Word as final authority, and suddenly we’re covering up and pulling away from the very God who’s looking for us.CLICK HERE FOR MESSAGE NOTES.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Freedom | Two Choices

Let God In | Gabe George
You can believe in God and still keep Him at arm’s length. That distance feels safe, but it locks you into a life you have to manage alone, with all the anxiety and exhaustion that comes with it. God doesn’t want to be your landlord, showing up only when something breaks. He wants to be your Father, with real relationship and real access to every corner of your life. The Numbers We Trust
The moment life gets uncertain, we all start doing the same thing: we count. We count money, time, options, wins, losses, and worst case scenarios. But there’s a haunting question underneath all that math: are we counting to be wise, or counting to feel safe?We sit in the tension between my resources and God’s record. Pastor Jason shares real stories from family life and church planting that highlight the gap many of us live in, then turns to a striking biblical contrast: King David’s census in 1 Chronicles 21 versus David’s song of remembrance in 1 Chronicles 16 (also echoed in Psalm 105). One is driven by fear and control, the other by worship and memory. From there we zoom out to spiritual formation and practical next steps. We celebrate tangible signs of life change through Freedom Church from community groups and serving to students stepping up and families finding real friendships. We also name the reality many people are carrying right now: marriage stress, anxiety, infertility, finances, health issues, kids drifting, and prayers that feel slow. The invitation is not perfection, but faithfulness and a faster return to Jesus when we fail.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
A Better Way: To Work | A Classroom For Spiritual Growth | Kirby Andersen
Monday morning can feel like a countdown to stress, but what if your workplace is actually one of God’s main tools for shaping you? We dig into a surprising framework for a Christian view of work: God isn’t only interested in what you achieve on the job, He’s deeply committed to who you’re becoming through it. If you’ve ever felt stuck in the cycle of performance, approval, and exhaustion, this conversation offers a better target than “success” alone: transformation into the likeness of Jesus.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
A Better Way: To Work | Rest Isn't What You Think
Your body can take a day off and your mind still won’t stop running. We’re chasing something deeper: the kind of rest Jesus calls “rest for your souls,” the settled, quiet strength you can’t buy with a bigger paycheck or a perfect schedule. If you’re carrying the weight of nonstop work, family pressure, and the feeling that you’re always behind, this conversation is for you.We connect the dots between work, Sabbath rest, and identity, because what you do for a living can easily become what you use to hide. We dig into Matthew 11 where Jesus offers rest but also invites us into a different yoke and a new set of rhythms. Then we walk through Hebrews 3 and 4 and the story of Israel standing at the edge of the promised land, showing how “believing in God” is not the same as believing God and how unbelief keeps people from entering rest.We also name two barriers that sabotage spiritual rest: hiding and striving. When we stay busy to avoid what hurts, or we lean on even our best deeds to justify ourselves, we lose the confidence to approach God freely. Sabbath becomes a practical habit that creates margin, exposes what drives us, and trains us to stop producing long enough to worship, enjoy, and receive grace. If you want a healthier work life, a more grounded faith, and a path out of burnout, press play, then subscribe, share this with a friend who’s exhausted, and leave a review so more people can find it.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
A Better Way: To Work | How Can I Find More Satisfaction at Work?
If you’ve ever thought, “I’ll finally feel satisfied when I get a better job, a bigger paycheck, or more recognition,” this message meets you right there and challenges the assumption. A Better Way: To Work | Called Before Assigned
Work gets the majority of our attention, yet most of us were never taught how to connect our Monday to our faith without either idolizing our career or minimizing it as “just a job.” We pull that tension into the open and talk about calling in a way that’s clear, biblical, and practical for real life.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
A Better Way: To Work | God & Us
We challenge the sacred versus secular split and rebuild a biblical theology of work that gives everyday labor real purpose. We trace work back to Genesis, show how the gospel reshapes our motives, and pray for integrity, excellence, and partnership with Jesus in the workplace. • work taking most of our waking hours yet rarely viewed theologically • defining work as creative energy from God that serves others and makes communities whole • rejecting the idea that work is only for money or a result of sin • understanding work by first understanding God’s relational and self-giving nature • God blessing first and giving value before we perform • seeing work as partnership with God through the Genesis picture of naming animals • imago Dei and making the invisible God visible through integrity and kept promises • sin twisting work into proving, control, competition, and self-made kingdoms • reframing the gospel as the kingdom of heaven here bringing forgiveness, new life, new community, and new mission Come out there and celebrate Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Rediscovering The Holy Spirit | The Unfair Advantage
We talk about the Holy Spirit as God’s real partnership for the hard climb of life, not a last-minute boost we reach for when we’re struggling.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Rediscovering The Holy Spirit | How Do We Change?
We talk about why real change is not self-reinvention but renewal through the Holy Spirit. We unpack how attention, habits, repentance, and time work together as God forms us into people who actually live what we believe. • the difference between trying harder and being renewed • sanctification as working out what God puts within us • exposure and attention as the hidden forces shaping our lives • repentance and belief as thinking right plus doing right • why emotional highs fade and practice builds stability • appetite following diet and how habits reshape desire • refusing to label bondage as normal • willpower as a limited resource and the Spirit as real power • confession, repentance, and practical next steps through church community • being formed over time rather than in a moment Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Rediscovering The Holy Spirit | Hearing God’s Voice
If you’ve ever wished you could pick up a red phone and hear God spell out your next step, you’re not alone. We get honest about why “God told me” can sound confident in someone else’s mouth while the rest of us feel stuck in fog, especially when the decision is big: a move, a job change, a family choice, or a conflict you don’t know how to navigate. Rediscovering The Holy Spirit | Not Better. New.
If you’ve ever wondered whether the Holy Spirit is “weird,” only for certain Christians, or mainly about emotional moments, we get it. The way you understand the Holy Spirit will shape whether you keep your distance, chase hype, or actually receive what God is offering.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
What Is Parenting All About?
Parenting can flip from a heartfelt blessing to a pants-related meltdown in under a minute, and that’s not just funny, it’s revealing. Pastor Jason shares a grounded, Bible-based parenting message that starts where most advice doesn’t: our hearts. We dig into why your ability to be led by God directly impacts your ability to lead your children, and why integrity isn’t about being perfect, it’s about being whole. If you’ve felt pressure to “just know” what you’re doing, this conversation replaces shame with a clear starting point and a better foundation.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
How Should Christians Think About Sex?
Sex is everywhere, yet so many of us feel either confused, pressured, or quietly ashamed. We go straight at the question most people avoid: who has really discipled your beliefs about sex and where did those beliefs come from? We share why Jesus isn’t trying to ruin your life or steal your joy, but to reclaim his voice in an area that shapes your body, your emotions, and your future.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
How to Fight and Forgive
Conflict is guaranteed in every home, but bitterness is not. We dig into a myth that quietly wrecks marriages, parenting, and friendships: the idea that great relationships should just happen naturally. When real life shows up, that expectation turns normal tension into panic, avoidance, or blowups and we start treating conflict like proof something is broken instead of an invitation to grow.Using Ephesians 4 as our anchor, we talk about Christian conflict resolution that’s honest and practical: speaking truth without cruelty, refusing “love” that’s really just avoidance, and learning how to deal rightly with anger before it turns into passive aggression, sarcasm, or resentment. We also get specific about communication, because maturity isn’t only asking “Is it true?” but also “Is it helpful?” and giving grace to the person who has to hear it. Then we hit the heart of it: forgiveness. We untangle forgiveness vs trust, forgiveness vs reconciliation, and why a restored relationship takes time, integrity, and true repentance. You’ll hear what real apology sounds like, why “I’m sorry” can miss the point, and how forgiving as Christ forgave us is the only power strong enough to heal deep wounds.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Planting For The Future with Pastor Jason & Bethany
Your family doesn’t have to implode to be unhealthy. Sometimes it just drifts, one rushed week at a time, until your priorities are out of sync and you’re stuck managing symptoms instead of building something strong. We talk about what it looks like to lead at home with intention, especially when you want a better marriage, healthier kids, and a home culture that can last through every season. We dig into a powerful contrast: managing the fruit versus planting the seed. Using the image of a tree that looks alive but produces nothing, we explore why quick fixes rarely work for peace, joy, and emotional health. Real change grows from deeper roots, including renewed thinking, aligned values, and the courage to replace unhealthy family patterns with healthy ones. We also get candid about common relationship pressure points, from singleness and the desire for marriage to the unrealistic weight many of us put on a spouse to carry our identity, purpose, and happiness.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
There’s Hope For Your Home
This is Week 1 of our new series, A Better Way To Lead At Home.Families don’t usually fall apart in one dramatic moment. More often, they drift through small habits we keep tolerating until they feel normal, then we wake up years later asking, “How did we get here?” We’re kicking off our Family Series by naming that hidden force the Bible calls iniquity: the bent patterns that shape a home, repeat over time, and quietly get passed down to the next generation. We dig into God’s design for family unity and why unity is more than everyone agreeing or avoiding conflict. Unity takes intentional work, shared direction, and a stronger center than personal preference. We also talk honestly about why families end up divided: pain that isn’t healed, conflict we don’t know how to handle, and a culture that trains us to judge relationships by “are my needs being met?” Then we expose the slow strategy of separation that taps a wedge into marriages, parent-child relationships, extended families, and even church community.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Miracles | When We Fail
Failure doesn’t just hurt, it rewrites the story we tell about ourselves. When we blow it, most of us sprint to excuses, image control, or silence. Some of us disappear spiritually while still showing up physically. Others hustle harder, trying to pay God back. That cycle creates a kind of yo-yo faith where we feel close to God only when we feel “good enough.”We go to John 21 and sit with Peter after his public denial of Jesus. Peter retreats to fishing, back to the familiar and controllable, but Jesus doesn’t wait on the sidelines. He steps onto the shore, recreates the moment of Peter’s original calling, and makes the message unavoidable: God moves toward you in failure. Then, around a charcoal fire, Jesus asks Peter three times, “Do you love me?” It stings, but it heals. This isn’t condemnation, and it isn’t Jesus struggling to forgive. It’s restoration. It’s repentance. It’s freedom.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Miracles | Finding Jesus In Our Deepest Pain
If you’ve ever prayed hard, waited long, and started to wonder whether God is actually coming, John 11 is your story. We open up the Lazarus account and sit in the uncomfortable middle where grief is real, timing feels unfair, and faith is tested by silence. What we find there isn’t a formula for miracles, it’s a Person who steps into the pain and refuses to leave us alone in it.We talk about the two most common ways people process suffering and spiritual pain: Martha-style out loud processing and Mary-style quiet tears. Both sisters bring the same heartbreak to Jesus, and He responds differently to each one. We also dig into the power of “Jesus wept,” why God is not threatened by your emotion, and why your thought life can become the loudest battlefield when a bad report hits your family, your health, your marriage, or your work. Then we shift into the practical side of faith and miracles. Over and over in Scripture, God does what we cannot do, but He does not do what we can do. That means getting up, moving the stone, and taking off the grave clothes even in challenging situations.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Miracles | How God Works Through Relationships
You can chase spectacular signs and still miss the miracle happening right next to you: a friend who refuses to let you stay stuck. We talk about a quieter kind of God-moment that doesn’t come with special effects, but changes everything through presence, persistence, and love.We name the problem a lot of us feel but rarely admit: spiritual isolation. We’re surrounded by “connection” and still end up alone, guarded, and tired, especially after friendship wounds or church hurt. Then we turn to Luke 5:17-26, the story where four friends carry a paralyzed man to Jesus, climb onto a roof, and lower him into the room. Jesus doesn’t just heal his body; he forgives his sins first, revealing the greater miracle of spiritual restoration and a real relationship with God.From there, we get practical about Christian community and discipleship. We unpack the deep fellowship the New Testament describes, and we challenge the idea that friendships are accidental. If you need stronger relationships, we’ll point you toward clear next steps like joining a group, serving, and choosing to go first. If you already have solid friends, we’ll talk about nurturing those bonds and bringing others toward Jesus with genuine care, not arguments. Miracles | Waiting On God
Waiting messes with all of us. It makes us impatient, anxious, and weirdly convinced that if we just hustle harder, we can force clarity. But what if the delay isn’t a detour and what if it’s where Jesus does some of his deepest work?We walk through Luke 8 as one connected story, not a random set of Bible scenes. Jesus teaches, calms a storm, confronts demons, heals long-term sickness, and even raises the dead, all pointing to one big truth: Jesus has authority everywhere, over everything. From that tension, we build a simple “field guide for waiting on God” with four anchors: expect, wait, believe, and attention. We talk about why unmet expectations can shrink your faith, how delays can function like a spiritual test that forms you, and how the voice of cynicism tries to end your hope early. Miracles | More Than Healing
We walk through Luke 17:11-19, where ten men with leprosy beg Jesus for mercy. They all get healed, yet only one returns to thank him, and he happens to be a Samaritan outsider. Along the way we talk about Jesus living on mission with real purpose while staying interruptible, why humility moves God’s heart more than entitlement, and why faith is not just a mindset but obedience with your feet. “As they went, they were cleansed” becomes a mirror for anyone waiting to follow until they see results. We also dig into the difference between wanting a miracle and living under God’s blessing. Sometimes what we call a miracle is actually an invitation to alignment, integrity, and surrender. The episode ends with the question that won’t leave you alone: will you treat Jesus like a tool to get what you want, or like a King to worship and follow? If you’ve reduced Christianity to morals, habits, or routines, this is a call back to a real relationship with a real Person.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Miracles | When Life is Difficult
We define a miracle the way the Bible actually uses it: an unusual act of God that shows His power and points us to who He is. That shift changes everything, because it means miracles are not party tricks, they are windows into God’s character and His presence in the middle of pressure.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
Miracles | What If God Is Trying To Show You Something?
Miracles can feel like an SOS flare, a Santa-style wish list, or a spiritual formula we’re supposed to crack. We look at how Jesus’ miracles function in Scripture: not as entertainment, not as proof for sign-chasers, but as signs that point us to who God is and to a promise that’s even better than the sign.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
ReCALIBRATE | How to Enjoy Life & Live on Purpose
We teach on contentment from Philippians 4. We call out distraction, comparison, and the geography lie, healing, and real community.• contentment as a learned practice, not a mood• distraction, comparison, and coping that choke growth• right thinking over right circumstances in Philippians 4• reliance on Jesus for today’s grace, not tomorrow’s worryFreedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!

ReCALIBRATE | Unshakable Joy
Feeling stuck as the year begins can make joy feel out of reach. We get honest about that ache and then chart a better way, guided by Philippians and the lived example of Paul writing about joy from prison. Instead of chasing emotions, we anchor in identity—saints in Christ, not strivers grading our worth by weekly wins. From that ground, we explore why isolation quietly drains joy and how real partnership in a local church renews courage. Joy isn’t sentimental; it’s forged in shared mission, honest friendship, and the daily choice to shape our attention around what is true.Freedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
God, Are You There? | When God Feels Slow
We explore the tension of waiting on God without losing our way, using Simeon’s story to show how trust, listening, and timing shape a resilient faith. Delay is reframed as formation in the unseen, not failure in the seen.• waiting as a core part of life with Jesus• character revealed through delay and unmet expectations• God’s appointed time and unseen process• Simeon’s active waiting in community and worship• trusting God when feelings and logic disagree• learning to hear and heed the Holy Spirit• resisting bitterness while embracing God’s timing• hope for spouses, children, and broken relationshipsFreedom Church is a growing, life-giving, Spirit-filled church in Williston, ND committed to our mission of Reaching People & Building Lives. We believe Jesus leads us in steps...Click here to find your next step!
God, Are You There? | What To Do When Nothing Seems To Change
Waiting can feel like walking through fog with a map you can’t read. We’ve been there—counting days, measuring progress, and wondering why others seem to sprint past while we stand still. Today we trace a clear path through that fog using Hannah’s story in 1 Samuel 1, and we get honest about the questions that haunt the in‑between: when will this change and why hasn’t it yet?We unpack how disappointment hardens into bitterness and why there’s no such thing as keeping it private. You’ll hear how subtle cultural currents shape our reactions, how comparison poisons joy, and how a small shift—rising to pray rather than retaliate—can change the atmosphere inside before anything changes outside. Hannah’s honest prayer, her refusal to build identity around her pain, and her willingness to dedicate her answer back to God offer a model for modern life: careers on hold, finances tight, relationships tense, and prayers that feel unanswered.Together we lay out a three-part strategy for these seasons: reject bitterness before it takes root, don’t let waiting silence your prayers, and never let answers replace your allegiance. We explore seeking, and knocking, and the peace that comes from seeing everything we hold—kids, work, influence, resources—as gifts to steward rather than trophies to own. Sometimes you receive exactly what you asked for; other times you receive formation in patience, trust, and hope. Either way, you win, and your heart stays aligned with the One who holds the timing. If this speaks to where you are, press play, share it with a friend who’s waiting, and subscribe for more conversations that build a resilient, prayerful life.
